Alejandro Balde caps off a brilliant start to the season with a deserved World Cup call up
The 19 y/o has been picked to replace Jose Gaya of Valencia after he picked up an injury.
Alejandro Balde who already cemented himself in the starting line up for Barçelona under the leadership of Xavi Hernandez - replacing Jordi Alba - has made 14 appearances this season and is yet to put a wrong foot in.
Originally training with the U-21's for their match against Japan, has now been called up to the senior team for his first ever World Cup.
Alejandro would be joining fellow Barçelona teammates - Eric Garcia, Pedri, Gavi, Alba, Busquets, Ferran, Fati - in Doha for the World Cup.
Barçelona is now with 17 players from the club at the World Cup, the most in history, following the inclusion of Alejandro Balde in Spain's Squad for the 2022 World Cup.
